Music. It’s been a night of experiencing world music. First there was Jewish music showing influences of middle eastern and latin cultures. I loved hearing songs sung in Hebrew. Especially one about the Psalms. Then we went to the Folk Festival.  Lots of drunk, or high people. The music was very good, not what I’d call folksy but good music.
Between bands I went for a walk to check out the booths and saw some nice hand designed handbags. Too pricey for a fleeting “want”. But just on the other side was a booth with jewelry. Here’s the thing. I have a pair of earrings that I love. But I didn’t buy the necklace that matched them. I’ve regretted that ever since. They had one that goes quite well. I am so happy to finally have a necklace that compliments my earrings. 😀
Minor, perhaps, but it was a genuinely fun relaxing light hearted evening with some good heart to heart chats.
